Stayed at a luxurious place with a bar, terrace, and amazing room service. I even got to swim in the outdoor pool! The nearest airport was quite convenient too.
Oh, what a shame, no Nespresso machine for my fancy coffee cravings. How will I survive without it?

The architecture of the property was absolutely stunning, and the surrounding landscape was magnificent. the spacious accommodation and lovely outlook of the surrounding mountain ranges were definite highlights. the warm welcome from the staff made us feel right at home.
The upstairs bedroom was quite uncomfortable when the weather was hot since there was no air conditioning. the kitchen lacked sufficient cookware, which made it difficult for those who enjoy cooking for more than a couple of nights.

The modern design and well-preserved original cellar added to the overall appeal. the splash pool/hot tub provided a refreshing way to relax, and waking up to the sounds of nature was a delight. the host, Braam, was excellent and made sure my stay was enjoyable. Freddy, the lama, added a unique and fun character to the place.
Felt very lucky, no complaints whatsoever.

What an amazing place! The house is beautiful, the setting is incredible, and the solar heated pool was a highlight. Braam, the owner, made us feel very welcome from day one and his passion for the conversion of the wine cellar was evident. The attention to detail and modern finishings were fantastic. Sitting in the underground cellar with a glass of wine was a memorable experience, and the outdoor hot tub was perfect for enjoying the sunset.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The Cellar1947 at Robertson was a convenient choice for a transit stay during my travels. The nearest airport being only 147 km away made it easily accessible and saved me time and effort.
The stay was not as private as advertised. We were allocated a different unit than the one we had booked months in advance.

We had an really good stay at a fine hotel on the outskirts of Robertson. The architecture was amazing, and the spacious accommodation provided an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. We were warmly welcomed by Nadia and enjoyed exploring the well-tended grounds. The wine cellar and hot tub were great additions, although we couldn't use them due to the heat. it was one of the best places we've ever stayed, and we would highly recommend it.
If I had to be picky, I would have loved a Nespresso machine for a fancy coffee experience. the hairdryer had the wrong plug connection, but it didn't bother me much as I'm bald.
